1. General Requirements
Authors who submit manuscripts to AL-KAMILAH: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Interdisipliner must ensure that the manuscript:
- Is original and has not been published or submitted to another journal.
- Fits the focus and scope of the journal.
- Is based on sound academic research and appropriate methodology.
- Uses clear academic English or Indonesian.
- Follows the journal's formatting and referencing guidelines.
- Does not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct.
2. Manuscript Structure
Research articles should generally contain the following sections:
- Title
- Author(s) and Affiliation
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
The structure may be adjusted for conceptual, literature review, or other types of scholarly articles.
3. Title and Abstract
The title should be concise, specific, and reflect the main topic of the manuscript.
The abstract should briefly present the background, research objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusion. It should be written as a single paragraph and should generally contain 150–250 words.
Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that represent the main concepts of the article.
4. Manuscript Format
Manuscripts should:
- Be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
- Use clear and consistent academic formatting.
- Include tables and figures appropriately within the manuscript.
- Use standard academic terminology and consistent spelling.
- Ensure that all tables, figures, and other materials are properly numbered and referenced in the text.
Detailed formatting should follow the journal's manuscript template.
5. References and Citation
Authors should use a consistent academic referencing style as specified by the journal. APA Style (7th edition) is recommended.
Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant scholarly sources, particularly peer-reviewed journal articles. Reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote may be used to ensure consistency.
All sources cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript.
6. Ethical Requirements
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality and integrity of their manuscripts. Any use of data, ideas, quotations, or materials from other sources must be properly acknowledged.
For research involving human participants, authors should comply with applicable ethical standards and obtain ethical approval where required.
7. Submission and Review
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a peer-review process.
Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' and editors' comments. The final decision regarding publication is made by the editor based on the quality, relevance, originality, and academic contribution of the manuscript.
8. Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the data and information presented.
- Proper citation and acknowledgment of sources.
- Declaring any potential conflicts of interest.
- Obtaining permission for copyrighted materials when necessary.
- Responding to reviewers' comments professionally and adequately.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work complies with the journal's publication and ethical standards.
