Peer Reviewer Process

IJIM: International Journal of Islamic Educational Management applies a double-blind peer review system to ensure the quality and integrity of published manuscripts.

  1. Initial Screening
Each submission is reviewed by the editor for scope, originality, manuscript quality, and compliance with journal guidelines.
  2. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who have expertise relevant to the manuscript.
  3. Review Criteria
Reviewers assess originality, novelty, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, analysis, relevance to the journal's scope, and clarity of presentation.
  4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor may decide: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
  5. Revision
Authors are required to respond to reviewers' comments and revise the manuscript when requested. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers if necessary.
  6. Final Decision
The editor makes the final decision based on the reviewers' evaluations and the overall quality of the revised manuscript.

All review processes are conducted confidentially, objectively, and fairly. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and disclose any potential conflict of interest.
